An existing gymnasium into a performance venue

The Denver Waldorf School Campus Master Plan (CMP) project began in December of 2016. The purpose of the CMP was to evaluate the alignment of the facility with the unique program requirements of the Waldorf pedagogy as well as explore options for addressing accessibility and aesthetic opportunities to express the spirit of Waldorf education more directly. The design team included architects, landscape architects, engineers and a general contractor. There was a coordinated effort to integrate work with other separately contracted entities including the work of Iconergy and Urban Play Studio.

Phase 1 of the Denver Waldorf project implemented an included conversion of an existing gymnasium into a performance venue along with improved accessibility and security throughout.
