Ford Architects completed the Master Plan, then proceeded to partner with RTA Architects for the design of the Mapleton Early Childhood Center Project.

This project converted the historic Mapleton Elementary School, which closed in 2003, into a new early childhood learning center. This new facility serves infants up to 5-year olds.

The project team focused on designing to the 21st century while maintaining the integrity of the historical building. It has been the recipient of 9 significant design awards.
