Sierra Grande School District is located in Blanca, Colorado underneath the beautiful 14,344 foot Blanca Peak. The facility master plan was a collective effort engaging numerous stakeholders throughout its development and completion. The master plan focused a new PK-12 school building with flexible learning environments, break out spaces, adequate classroom sizes and proportions, appropriate adjacencies between core classrooms and electives, common spaces, playfields, and increased staff restrooms. Utilizing the campus master plan, a BEST Grant was applied for and was successful.
